An adaptable, space-saving solution
If finding space for both a flight of stairs and a stairlift is proving problematic, a FlexStep stairlift could be the answer you are looking for. AGF's Corner RiserPACK is a riser manifold configured to fit into a tight corner and comply with ADA Standards. The perpendicular body allows the components to sit flush in the corner to minimize protrusion.

AGF's pressure relief valves are designed to relieve excess pressure caused by temperature changes or pressure surges in wet fire sprinkler systems. The new “lockable" pressure relief valves include an added feature that allows them to be temporarily locked for hydrostatic testing. Save time and money by installing the pressure relief valve before system testing rather than having to go back afterwards.

• Vacuum dirt and debris from sill and track areas before washing

• Clean glass and window or door frame with a mixture of mild dish soap and water. Rinse completely with clean water and wipe dry with a soft cloth to avoid water spots.

• Avoid washing glass in direct sunlight.

• Never use abrasive or caustic cleaners. They can cause permanent damage to the frame finish or the glass.

• Mild, nonabrasive soaps are usually the safest for most dirt and stain removal, but any cleaner you use should be tested in an inconspicuous area first.

• Always rinse completely with clear water and wipe dry if possible.

• Check to make sure drainage or “weep” holes are always clear of dirt and obstructions – both inside and outside the window or door in the bottom of the frame. Composite windows do not have weep holes. Note: If the window is “stacked,” there may be weep holes between units.

• Clean screens by removing them, washing them on a flat, clean surface with mild soap and water and a soft brush. Then rinse, wipe dry and reinstall.

• Windows and doors with moving parts include hardware components that should be lubricated periodically. In salt-air environments, these components require monthly lubrication.

• After wiping clean, use a silicone spray with a non-petroleum-based propellant on door or sliding window tracks, rollers and locking hardware

Integral 1-1/2 inch dual wall retrofit flush fin is located on the exterior of the frame. This frame is also called a jump frame. It allows you to install the window in a retrofit application without removing the old window frame. This method does not damage or interrupt the existing water barrier. Liftup was contacted by the architect responsible for the old historic building Christiansborg Palace, because he was looking for an integrated solution to provide access to all persons, walking and walking-impaired, for one of the main assembly rooms in the Danish Parliament.

The wide historic staircase 6 steps down to the assembly room was divided with a FlexStep in the middle to create easy access to wheelchair users and walking impaired.

The old floorboard steps were re-used as step inserts and brass handrails were the finishing touch preserving the style and atmosphere in this historic room.

The Observatoire de la COte d'Azur is an astronomical observatory located on top of Mount Gros in Nice, France, and at the time of its construction was the highest observatory in the world.

The observatory was built in the late 18th century with Charles Garnier as chief architect and Gustave Eiffel as designer of the main dome. The observatory is a place of science and culture where research is being done in planetology, star physics and gravitational waves.

Under the dome, at the top of the observatory, the large telescope is located 1 meter above floor level and can be accessed from the stairs. Aalborg Airport celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2013 with a large expansion of the terminal building. It was also an anniversary for Liftup: This was Liftup Product no 1.000!

StairTrainer is a rehabilitation and training aid. If you have an injury it is important to commence your rehabilitation quickly, to give yourself the most chance of regaining as much of your prior mobility and fitness as possible. StairTrainer is a mobile, fully adjustable staircase that is used to support patients in rehabilitation as they learn to use stairs again.

The StairTrainer features a display which shows the current step height setting. This provides extra motivation to the patient to continue with their rehabilitation as they can monitor their progress as the stair height increases. The wheels give the StairTrainer additional flexibility by allowing you to easily relocate it to where you need it. Due to its compact design, the StairTrainer can fit through doorways as narrow as 90 cm.

At the rehabilitation centre at the Northern Neuro Unit located in BrOnderslev, goal-oriented and intensive rehabilitation of patients with moderate or severe brain damage is offered. The centre is one of the rehabilitation facilities for adult patients with acquired brain damage, for example, following a blood clot or a brain haemorrhage, in North Jutland Region.

Through specialised, multi-discipline and intensive rehabilitation, individuals with acquired brain damage can improve their functional abilities and thereby reduce the effects of disabilities and their consequences.

The individual patient's course of treatment is planned in a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team consisting of nurses, social and health assistants, doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and, where relevant, speech therapists and neuropsychologists.

In the centre's exercise premises, there is a StairTrainer by Liftup available as one of the tools the centre uses for rehabilitation treatments. In the event of an injury, it is important to get started quickly with rehabilitation so as to create the best conditions for reacquiring the same use of the limbs as before.

A stair trainer can be involved in a course of rehabilitation treatment even at an early stage. The StairTrainer can be set to different levels, starting with a very low step all the way down to 2.5 cm, and gradually increasing the degree of difficulty in tandem with the progress of the rehabilitation process. A secure grip on the handrail on both sides increases the safety of the rehabilitation treatment, while the small plateau at the top is encircled by a handrail so that it is safe to turn round without the fear of falling down a long staircase. The therapist can remain close to the patient the entire time since he/she is never any further away than the other side of the handrail all the way up and onto the plateau and also when the patient turns round to descend again on the way down. Alternatively, the therapist can also stand beside the patient on the rehabilitation stair.
