SRC LadderGuard Lite 15 for permanent rooftop ladders is the best way to protect ladder opening. OSHA states that all ladders must be guarded from accidental exposure. In other words, it must take a conscious effort to engage the ladder opening. The LadderGuard Lite 15 provides an OSHA compliant passageway that extends out into the roof 15 feet or adjusted to extend another 40'™. The system clamps onto the existing rooftop ladder and comes with a self-closing gate. The safety gate is placed away from the ladder opening so that the ingress climber completely disengages the ladder and gains sound footing before engaging the gate. The same is true in reverse. This non-penetrating system is available in a wide variety of powder coat colors or galvanized finish.
