The S-3000 Foldaway opening solution is a vertical lifting operable opening spanning up to 90' wide to make an outstanding statement, and is suitable for any application type. The S-3000 Foldaway utilizes counterweight balanced technology to ensure smooth operation and durability. By eliminating the need for overhead structure, architects and customers will have more clear opening to create amazing views.
The S-3000 counterweight balanced system is ideal where minimum internal and external projection is required. Systems are constructed from rectangular structural steel sections and designed for minimum deflection. When opening, this two leaf overhead folding system folds along a central hinge and moves upward, coming to rest in a horizontal configuration immediately below the header.
