For Use when more working time is needed or a more movement tolerant, crack resistant basecoat flooring product is needed
The Stone Edge Surfaces Pro Bond Ultra Multi-Family Commercial Flooring System is comprised of a Base Coat layer of a Sound Mat material, and then a 1″ – 1.5″ layer of Stone Edge Surfaces 5,000 psi Pro Bond Ultra, with high flexural strength.
Stone Edge Surfaces Pro Bond Ultra has been tested for adhesion and strength. and Pro Bond Ultra has been pump tested and certified by Strong Manufacturing.
Pro Bond Ultra has been ASTM E84 Fire and Smoke tested and certified with a Class A rating.
Stone Edge Surfaces Pro Bond Ultra is “pre-sanded", single component, just add water, polymer enhanced, non-gypsum, Portland cement and proprietary additive self-leveling underlayment.
Pro Bond Ultra sets in (2-12 hours), walkable in (12 – 24 hours), “pre-sanded", single component, just add water, polymer enhanced, non-gypsum, Portland cement and proprietary additive Semi-self-leveling underlayment that is used when Self-Levelers have been failing on your job sites and you need a more movement tolerant product.
Pro Bond Ultra creates a smooth flat and level surfaces for the installation of various flooring types.
When used together with a sound mat base material, which is designed with rigid vibration isolation technology, Pro Bond Ultra and the Sound Mat material can deliver durability and enhanced acoustic performance in the most challenging of projects.
Sound Mat is loose laid over the subfloor and then covered with a uniform thickness of Pro Bond Ultra Underlayment. No mechanical fastening is required, and the total thickness profile of the system can be as thin as 1" (25.4mm).
When used with as little as 1" (25.4mm) of Pro Bond Ultra floor underlayment, it is possible, with some sound mats to achieve impact noise ratings up to 59 db on wood frame assemblies.
A Sound Mat with a water-resistant design will help prevent water and Pro Bond Ultra from penetrating through the sound mat to the subfloor.
Because Pro Bond Ultra become the top coat over the Sound Mat you choose, which are together permanently imbedded in the floor-ceiling assembly, noise problems can be reduced, even when floor coverings are changed or replaced.
In most cases, a full breadth of floor covering options available, including tile, stone, marble, ceramic, and glue-down or floating hardwood, without sacrificing sound control.
