Class A Fire-Retardant Paint

Firefree Class A (“FfA") is a premium-quality, water-based, nontoxic, thin-film intumescent flame-retardant paint that's fully tested to meet all ASTM E84 requirements, including ASTM E84 30-Minute Extended. This certification meets the industry standard for noncombustibility. As part of the Firefree Wildfire System, FfA can be used to improve fire protection for structures exposed to wildfires in the Wildland Urban Interface (see Firefree Exterior).
