BioLime Base is used as an exterior coating reinforced with wire fabric or metal lath for substrates of fiberboard, plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), gypsum sheathing or expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation board on exterior walls of wood or steel stud construction.
BioLime Base is a highly versatile material that functions to mitigate moisture entrapment in sub-surfaces due to its natural composition and elevated pH, allowing the ability to counteract against the formation and proliferation of molds, mildew and bacteria.
