Aeroseal Envelope's building envelope air sealing solution, AeroBarrier, ensures that you will achieve your air tightness goal every time. Our automated technology simplifies building envelope air sealing, is more effective than current manual methods while also being lower cost and is verified with a continuous blower door test run during the sealing process. AeroBarrier has proven success in multifamily and commercial buildings, as well as single family homes for both the exterior envelope and compartmentalization air sealing of party walls.
AeroBarrier's air sealing system pressurizes a space using a blower door and fan, then sprays an atomized sealant mist into that space, causing the sealant to follow the pressurized air escaping through leaks in the building envelope and sealing those leaks as the sealant passes through them. A blower door test is run continuously during the sealing process, providing air leakage results every 60 seconds and verifying that the air sealing goal has been met before our installing subcontractor leaves the job site.

AeroBarrier provides the most effective building envelope air sealing solution for single family homes, making it easier and more cost effective to achieve your air sealing goal – for any air leakage requirement from building code to Energy Star, Zero Energy Ready, Net Zero, or Passive House. Our automated solution eliminates most manual air sealing, and confirms you've achieved your air sealing goal using a continuous blower door test as the AeroBarrier installation is completed. The AeroBarrier sealant is GREENGUARD Gold certified with ultra low VOC's, making it very safe to use. Work by other trades can resume 30 minutes after installation is complete.
