MI-100-DR Enclosed Electronic Trap Seal Primer System with Pressure Vacuum Breaker

The MI-100-DR is used in areas that require frequent and automatic distribution of water into floor drain traps to maintain the water seal. This will prevent sewer gas from entering the area through the floor drains. A minimum of two ounces of water are supplied per opening at 20 PSIG once in every 24 hour period. Included within the design is a BEECO Pressure Vacuum breaker, accessible for repair and maintenance to meet the requirements of CSA Standard B64. The Canadian Plumbing Code states that floor drains are a “high hazard". Therefore, a testable “assembly" such as a Pressure Vacuum Breaker is required to comply with the CSA Standard B64. A typical backflow “device" such as an Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker does not meet the requirements of CSA Standard B64.
