Turnstiles and Gates
On this job the customer originally reached out to us looking for 2 turnstiles, an ADA gate, and a small canopy for their entrance. They wanted something that looked nice and inviting “not like a prison entrance". By teaming up with TURNSTILES.US and Kraft Heinz we produced this canopy design and did the best we could to match the existing facility. By the time we were done it blended right in! We designed this entrance system from the ground up. The canopy features a bronze polycarbonate roofing system, bronze aluminum extrusion window frames with tinted glass, and all glass storefront sliders. Inside the partially enclosed canopy is a conditioned area complete with a drop ceiling, air dam, an air handler with heat and air conditioning, and lighting. The area had to be conditioned so that the temperature scanning facial recognition readers would function properly. For the security equipment we used 2 AG-36-T Outlaw Turnstiles (a special size requested by the customer), and 1 AG-48-ADA Outlaw ADA gate all powder coated bronze. With everyone working as a team this system was designed and installed in less than 4 months and it turned out awesome! We really enjoyed this project and look forward to more like it!
