JM BaseGrip™ SD/SA is designed for use in roofing systems where two or more plies of modified bitumen are desired. It may be used as the base ply when installed over an approved substrate.
Sand Top Surface: With a self adhering side lap that aids with faster installation and ease of use. Also allows for installation of a torchable cap sheet, hot asphalt, or an approved cold adhesive. Is ideal with heat welding.
SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) Synthetic Rubber and High Quality Asphalt Blend: Brings elasticity and flexibility to the sheet; lays flat virtually eliminating wrinkles resulting in fast, efficient applications. The elongation and recovery properties allow the product to easily accommodate the continual expansion and contraction strains experienced on all roofs.
Fiber Glass Reinforcement Mat: Offers excellent dimensional stability, tensile strength, puncture resistance, and withstands differential movement.
Self Adhering Modified Bitumen: The product's self-adhering feature with an easy-to-peel plastic film on the bottom of the sheet and top side lap aids with faster installation without the need of hot asphalt or heat welding.
