MetalWrap Long Span provides flexible options for applications that require direct attachment to steel girts up to 6' o.c. It is an insulated composite backup panel system that consists of two steel skins permanently bonded to a poured-in-place foam insulating core. The panel provides thermal, air, water and vapor barriers in a composite assembly. This single component assembly replaces multiple components used for backup wall systems. Various attachment systems are available to accommodate different exterior rainscreen materials using steel subgirts. A minimum of 18-gauge steel studs is recommended for horizontal panels.
