Facings - FFBI Facing

Johns Manville FFBI Facing is manufactured using natural kraft paper laminated with 0.00025 lightweight aluminum foil for improved permeance compared to plain kraft facing. FFBI facing is coated with a thermoplastic asphalt coating on one side that is used to bond fiberglass insulation to the facing in a subsequent manufacturing process. In addition, FFBI facing is manufactured with a folded tab to provide stapling flanges for installation. As an added benefit, the facing's uncoated side can be printed with the Original Equipment Manufacturer's logo.
