This heavy-duty disappearing stairway will handle a 1,000 pound load. It has one-piece siderails of 7" x .230" Aluminum Channel, and is operated with a simple toggle switch. Standard equipment includes battery backup power to allow the stair to be opened in the event of a power failure.
