The AutoSeal Watertight Roller Curtain Door is the latest technology in flood protection. During normal non-flooding operation, it functions as an overhead roller curtain door. Once water is sensed by the controls at a pre-determined level, it automatically deploys and secures the opening. Alternately, a press of the button sets the door in the flood protection mode.
The door is constructed from aluminum roller curtain door slates with a stainless steel frame and a flush bottom sill. It is provided with a battery back-up for operation when power is lost. Like most standard garage doors, it has an infrared start/stop sensor to avoid closing when an object is in the way.
Applications include warehouses, entrance doors, storefronts, garage doors, parking lots, etc.
Retrofit packages are available to upgrade control and indication systems to comply with current SOLAS and/or USCG requirements.

Options include spring balancing or gas springs and hold open braces. The frames and coamings can be bolted to the existing surface, welded to an existing metal frame or embedded in newly poured concrete.
Special Closures
our horizontally sliding barriers are available in several different designs, allowing us to make sure that you get the best product for your application. Almost all of these barriers can be opened and closed in seconds by one person. A wide variety of gaskets can be used depending on the application, including lipseal, '"P'" gasket, standard compression gaskets or inflatable seals. Extremely large and heavy barriers can be supplied with winches or towing points to assist with opening/closing of the gate, as well as to provide a measure of safety when opening or closing the gate in extreme wind conditions.
Vertically Sliding Flood Barriers:
Especially suited to loading docks and warehouses, vertically sliding flood barriers are a great way to close off large opening. The panels are raised and lowered with the aid of manual or power winches. All vertically sliding barriers are supplied with a hold-open device for safety purposes.

Our outage equipment hatches are typically provided with swing bolt closures which seal the hatch cover to the mounting ring, while rotating dogs linked to quick-acting handwheels offer fast passage from either side of the smaller access door.
Both the hatch and access door utilize double O-ring, compression, or inflatable gaskets based on the pressure requirements and project specifications.
Available in both round and rectangular configurations, WK Outage Equipment Hatches are custom designed to meet your requirements. Options include multiple piece construction, smaller personnel access doors within the larger access door panel, manual or power operation/indication, watertight/airtight penetrations, and special design parameters including blast, tornado, & seismic requirements.
