RIO-COAT EMP is a high solids epoxy coating that can be used on multiple surfaces. This resilient high-gloss surface is easy to clean and provides protection against wear and abrasions. Can be applied clear or pigmented.

RIO-COAT EUV & EUV-M is a versatile and economical 100% solids, clear or pigmented epoxy coating for multiple interior applications. RIOCOAT EUV is recommended for warehouses, kitchens, restrooms, and other areas where either a high build clear product is needed or where a decorative filled floor is desired and better UV resistance is needed.

RIO-COAT EVS is a two-part 100% solid epoxy moisture mitigation system. It is a moisture tolerant and VOC-Compliant product that limits alkalinity and the transmission of moisture, odor and other elements through concrete slabs. RIOCOAT EVS is compatible with most flooring adhesives and cementitious underlayments. RIOCOAT EVS features a rapid curing time for faster job completion. RIO-COAT ECR (NOVOLAC) is a two component colored high solids novolac epoxy coating designed for application where splash and spills of acids, chemicals and solvents occur. Recommended for a high build topcoat for traffic areas, chemical troughs and curbs as well as tanks and chemical spill areas for cement masonry or brick.

RIO-CLAD EPT is a three-component filled, 100% solids epoxy system for resurfacing eroded interior concrete floors. Topcoats (RIO-COAT EMP, RIO-COAT EPT and RIO-COAT UHW) are two-component, 100% solids epoxies for sealing the overlay.

RIOCOAT UHW is a high solids moisture cured urethane coating. It can be applied clear or pigmented with no filler leaving a high gloss smooth or satin finish, glass beads can be added to provide non-slip, better abrasion resistance with high gloss or aluminum oxide can be added to provide the highest abrasion resistance. The addition of more aluminum oxide will provide a satin finish while adding less will give a gloss finish.

RIOCOAT UHG is a high solids moisture cured urethane coating. It can be applied clear or pigmented with no filler leaving a high gloss smooth finish, glass beads can be added to provide non-slip, better abrasion resistance with high gloss or aluminum oxide can be added to provide the highest abrasion resistance. The addition of more aluminum oxide will provide a satin finish while adding less will give a gloss finish.

RIO-SHIELD Primer is a 100% reactive, acrylic resin based on methyl-methacrylate (MMA) that cures in one hour. The product's low viscosity allows it to penetrate and reinforce concrete substrates. Applying RIO-SHIELD primer to properly prepared concrete is the first step to the installation of any RIO-SHIELD acrylic flooring system. RIO-SHIELD primer can also be applied to other substrates.

RIO-SHIELD Primer is designed to achieve a bond to concrete substrates that is greater than the strength of the concrete itself. This product can be used to seal and reinforce concrete surfaces but more often is used to anchor a RIO-SHIELD acrylic flooring system to a concrete substrate.

RIO-SHIELD I-Component is a urethane based additive designed for use only with RIO-SHIELD methyl-methacrylate (MMA) based primers. I-Component is required with all MMA based primers as it dramatically increases the ability to bond to all substrates. I-Component is an on-site additive, because it reduces the shelf life of MMA based primers significantly. I-Component should be added and mixed with MMA based primers immediately before adding BPO (Powder Hardener). In no case should the use of I-Component be considered a substitute for proper preparation of the substrate. Performing bond tests in several areas of every RIO-SHIELD installation is always necessary. 

RIO-SHIELD Overlay Resin is a 100% reactive, acrylic resin based on methyl-methacrylate (MMA) that cures in one hour. Our Overlay Resin is designed as the base resin to create body coats in RIO-SHIELD acrylic flooring systems. System thickness typically ranges from 1/16" to 1/4" depending on the application technique and performance requirements of the system.

RIO-SHIELD Overlay Resin is most often applied as part of a self-leveling system, but can also be used as part of a roll-on system. In either case, RIO OVERLAY RESIN can be broadcast with colored quartz or colored flake. Self-leveling systems provide protection and longevity in heavy industrial environments where superior wear characteristics and durability are necessary. Roll-on systems may be used in a commercial or light industrial environment where resistance to impact and compressive strength are not required. For applications requiring an integral cove base, RIO OVERLAY RESIN can be mixed with fillers in a variety of combinations to meet system requirements or special needs.

RIO-SHIELD Topcoat is a 100% reactive, acrylic resin based on methyl-methacrylate (MMA) that cures in one hour. Our MMA topcoat is designed to be applied as the final layer of a RIO-SHIELD flooring system. RIO-SHIELD Topcoat has a low viscosity and provides a high degree of protection from mechanical abrasion, chemicals, and UV light. RIO-SHIELD Topcoat can be applied neat or as a solid color with pigment over a self-leveling system.

RIO-SHIELD Topcoat is most often applied neat over a RIO-SHIELD self-leveling (SL), colored quartz (CQ) or colored flake (CF) floor as the last coat of the system. It is typically applied in two coats @ 15-20 mils/coat. The first coat protects the entire system by locking in broadcast media, while the second coat provides the first line of defense against water, chemicals, UV light, and other contaminants.

RIOCOAT UPA is a unique, very-high-solids urea that utilizes the latest polyaspartic technology. This low-VOC, low-odor, fast-curing, two-part floor coating is an ideal top-coat for various RIO Concrete systems including the RIO-CHIP Broadcast and RIO-QUARTZ broadcast systems.

RIOCOAT UPA-85  is a unique, economical, low-viscosity, fast-drying polyaspartic/polyurea that stays clear and will not blush or haze at high film thicknesses (20 mils). RIOCOAT UPA 85 is frequently used as topcoats in abusive environments such as garages, warehouses and production areas. RIOCOAT UPA 85 may be used as a clear primer. RIOCOAT UPA 85 may also be pigmented with Pigment Packs to achieve a solid colored primer, body-coat, or topcoat. RIOCOAT UPA 85 has excellent bond strength, 100% UV resistance, chemical resistance and gloss retention.

RIO-DECK EP (PRIMER) is a two component, liquid applied, solvenated epoxypolyamine primer with unique penetrating characteristics. This primer is recommended for metal flashings and other medium to heavy duty traffic areas and for outdoor applications.

Applications include: concrete, metal, glass reinforced plastics, plywood and polyurethane elastomeric surfaces.

RIO-DECK BTUFF 308 is is a two component, fast setting, rapid curing, solvent free, flexible, high performance, high solids, urethane-elastomer base membrane that can be applied to prepared interior or exterior concrete, plywood and metal surfaces. Due to its fast gel time, B-Tuff 308 is suitable for applications in temperatures as low as 20°F (-6.7°C). It may be applied in a single application or in multiple applications. B-Tuff 308 is also relatively insensitive to moisture and temperature, allowing applications in various temperatures and humidity. Please use the correct product grade that complies with VOC regulations as per federal, state, county and city regulations/codes at the place of installation of product.

RIO-DECK TC (Traffic Coating Topcoat Aromatic) is an aromatic, single component, environmentally  friendly, high solids, liquid applied, moisture cured, urethane surface protection coating. RIO DECK TC is designed to be used in low VOC and low odor environments including the Southern California Air Quality Management District and in compliance with the Air Quality Standards.

Applications include: concrete, plywood, pedestrian traffic, vehicular traffic, resealing existing urethane surfaces and most metal, rubber, wood, or masonry surfaces.

RIO-DECK TCA (Topcoat Aliphatic) is a high solids, low odor, low VOC waterproofing membrane system that consists of a two component fast cure, urethane/polyurea base coat. 

RIO-DECK TCA is used as a tough, roofing and waterproofing membrane to endure a broad range of construction applications where a heavy duty traffic grade waterproofing membrane is required. The RIO-DECK TCA traffic coating system is utilized for vehicular and pedestrian traffic decks as well as between slab or sandwich plaza deck waterproofing, IRMA roof applications and single ply roof coating.

RIO-SIL PLUS is a chemically reactive, water-based solution of potassium-silicate with added siliconate. It chemically reacts within the concrete matrix of form additional calcium-silicate-hydrate (C-S-H), filling pores and capillaries to create a dense, hardened surface. The siliconate component responds to polishing or wear by developing a satin sheen, resists black tire marks and adds hydrophobic characteristics.

RIO-SIL PLUS Li is a chemically reactive lithium silicate. It changes the chemical composition of surfaces filling the pores and capillaries of the concrete matrix with a hard dense gel. RIOSIL PLUS Li has lower viscosity than other siliceous hardeners, allowing it to penetrate deeper into concrete. RIOSIL PLUS Li does not require scrubbing to facilitate penetration this reduces labor costs. Unlike sodium or potassium silicates, RIOSIL PLUS Li is easily removed, it does not leave unsightly white salt deposits.

RIO-GEL is a highly thixotropic, 100% solids epoxy gel ideal for quickly patching “bug holes", cracks, divots and other minor deformities in concrete slabs. Used by itself for periodic concrete maintenance, or under other RIO Systems as part of the slab preparation process,  RIO-GEL exhibits superior compressive strength and wear properties with no shrinkage.

RIO-FILL is a 100% solids, two-component, UV resistant, semi-rigid, rapid-curing, polyurea for filling control and construction joints in heavy duty industrial concrete floors.

RIO-FILL allows for joints to be shaved quickly for fast turnaround. RIO-FILL has been designed for use in compliance with ACI 302, section 4.10 recommendations for joint fillers used in saw cut/control joints with a Shore A Durometer of 85. RIO-FILL can also be used for the repair of damaged or spalled joint nosing and cracks.
