RapidFreeze® Model 997 is an interior fabric high speed freezer and cooler door that features an insulated curtain to prevent heat loss and condensation in settings where temperatures vary greatly on either side of the door opening.

• Levelers ship with four steel fork loops bolted to the deck, which improves stability when lifting from a truck. The loops help with forklift placement into a pit from inside or outside the building, and helps to minimize levelers sliding while stacked on top of each other

• Cut outs identify weld points to the curb angle for faster installation

• Lifter arm is mounted to the rear of the frame instead of sitting on pit floor. No need to shim or weld under the lifter arm

Impactable L-shaped columns hug the trailer to help seal out the weather. Along with the adjustable curtains, this shelter accommodates a wide variety of trailers with different widths and heights. It also provides access to the full width and height of the trailer.

Adjustable Curtain Heights

• Available with up to a 52" drop

• Full width steel tube that prevents curtain sagging

• With a rope and pulley assembly, the curtain adjusts to different trailer heights to help aid thermal efficiency. The curtain can be ordered with overlapping low temperature PVC strips for cold applications

• The columns have premium grade foam with full compression and recovery properties in temperatures as low as -40°F

• The fire resistant foam is continuously bonded to the backing with a non-flammable adhesive with elastic properties for long life

This shelter has flexible vertical panels and a curtain to serve a wide variety of trailers with different widths and heights, while still providing weather protection to save on heating/cooling costs. It provides full width and height access to the back of the trailer.

Construction Advantages

The side and top panels are covered with galvanized steel panels and trimmed with aluminum angle for a clean, durable finish. Both upper corners of the shelter have overlapping wear pleats for added protection from trailer impacts and tearing. The top panel is peaked to drain water.

• A foam bead is sewn into the leading edge of the vertical front panels and top panel

• Vertical panels are double layered fabric at the leading edge of the impact area

• The fabric is double stitched with high strength polyester thread that has been UV treated for improved durability

• Fiberglass stays are encased in multi-layer pockets and provide the vertical panels with strength (Top stays are “Z" style to keep the curtain straight)

Fabric Advantages

• Made of fire resistant fabric and available in multiple weights including a premium 40 oz fabric that has six times more abrasion resistance than standard fabric

• For the most punishing applications, optional premium plus fabric is recommended.

• It is similar to the belts used on heavy duty, industrial conveyors. It provides elevated resistance to UV, fire, abrasion, tearing, rot, stains, salts, and oils

• All fabrics are treated with UV protection to help reduce fading

When compressed by the trailer, the top pad and side columns provide the best seal between the inside/outside areas around the door opening.

Lights

Increase safety at the loading dock with dock lights that provide energy efficient illumination the inside the trailer. Movable arms have a 40" reach and position the lights as needed or completely out of the way. The rugged polycarbonate housing and electric components of these lights are designed to withstand impacts and the rigors of the loading dock. Choice of the sturdy dual arm or single arm for vertical and horizontal adjustability. Add a fan to help keep workers comfortable when it's warm.

Bumpers - Mechanical Pit Leveler & Edge of Dock

Laminated bumpers protect your dock using recycled ply-type truck tire sections secured with 3/4" steel bar. Constructed with heavy duty 3/8" steel angles at the anchoring location to dock. Select from a range of dimensions and vertical styles to accommodate your application. Steel faced bumpers provide more impact and abrasion protection with a 3/8" steel face.

Track Guards

Colored in safety yellow for visibility, these 48" tall track guards are designed to protect door tracks from impacts by forklift and pallet movers without interfering with the door operation. Choice of 3/16" or 1/4" steel construction with floor and wall mounting. Top taper helps reduce hand pinching. Also available in a floor-only mount style.

Chocks

For the best protection, use 2 chocks per loading dock position and fit snuggly under the tires for holding power. Molded chock (7" x 9" x 7") is constructed of solid, durable rubber for stability and long life. The aluminum chock (7" x 11" x 8") has a claw-like bottom to grip a variety of surface conditions. The heavy duty, zinc plated chain resists corrosion and attaches to the chock to discourage chock misplacement.
