Stainless Steel Wire Ropes, Mesh Netting, Fasteners and Fittings

With our wide range of wire ropes, terminations and accessories we can offer solutions to almost every architectural challenge.

Our range comprises stainless steel cables in diameters from 0.62 mm up to 26 mm in various configurations:

• Single-strand constructions: 1 x 7, 1 x 19, 1 x 37

• Wire ropes with wire core: 6 x 7 + WC, 6 x 19 + WC, 6 x 36 + WC

• Wire ropes with fiber core: 6 x 36 + FC, 8 x 7 + FC

• We manufacture inox rods in diameters from 5.3 to 21.9 with optional external threads and wrench flats.

Wire ropes and rods can be assembled with thread ends in different designs and configurations, including:

• Standard external and internal thread ends, swaged

• Vissline external thread ends

• Univiss Plus external thread ends

• External and internal thread for on-site assembly

End stops in different configurations help to attach wire ropes to posts:

• Radius/Countersunk head ends

• Clamp rings

• Post fittings

• Variball system

Cable and tie rod assemblies need a tensioning device on at least one end. If this is not possible, we can supply a range of turnbuckles that can be inserted between the ends.
Clevis and eye ends can be attached to cable assemblies to attach them to eye brackets or other anchoring.
Our Forte program consists of external threads, turnbuckles and elegantly designed clevises for heavy loads.

We supply a range of hardware to attach wire rope assemblies to walls, posts or other structures.

• Wire ropes are assembled in lengths or delivered in bulk according to customer needs.

Rope clamps attach intersecting wire ropes to each other. They increase the stability of wire rope figures. We supply clamps for up to three ropes.
Clamps can also be used to attach suspension ropes to posts and other supports

Webnet is a wire mesh fabricated out of woven stainless steel strands. It is weather resistant, extremely robust and requires virtually no maintenance. Webnet is suitable for interior and exterior applications. Usually installed between openings in structural railings in stairways, it provides stability and clear guidance. On facades, it can serve as a support or trellis for climbing and twining plants or provide accents as dividing elements in large spaces. A great advantage of WebNet is its  robust strength  but delicate appearance, especially in zoo enclosures or as protective nets,  where it's visibility is minimal.

WebNet elements are fabricated by Jakob Rope Systems in our factory according to customer specifications.  Therefore there are virtually no limits to shape and size.

Webnet can be supplied in any color in the RAL spectrum. Colors can be used to highlight WebNet areas as architectural and graphic design elements, or integrate seamlessly into the surrounding structure. For zoo enclosures or ball stop fences, a black dye color option helps to make the net fabric even more difficult to  see.

Webnet consists of AISI 316 and AISI 316L stainless steel. It has been assessed according to standard specifications and subjected to many test measurements.

The Webnet standard version with sleeves is the classic original stainless steel wire mesh net. It is versatile, flexible and economical, especially with small rope diameters and diamond apertures.

Even more transparent than the version with sleeves while delivering practically identical strength values, sleeveless Webnet is ideal for strong and unobtrusive protective nets as well as for animal enclosures in zoo applications.

Webnet ID are stainless steel plates that can be integrated into Webnet mesh. They are available in different sizes and blank or colored.

When heavy loads have to be moved safely and cost-effectively, original Habegger products are the first choice. Habegger has been a part of Jakob Rope Systems since 2021.

In 1951, Willi Habegger invented the manual wire rope hoist. Since then, the name Habegger has become synonymous with an extensive range of products. Today, Habegger manufactures wire rope hoists and offers products and services for the hoisting and lifting sector. In 2016, Jakob Rope Systems acquired Habegger and in 2021, the companies fully merged.

The original HIT wire rope hoist, was based on Willy Habegger's original invention and continuously improved since 1951. All HIT wire rope hoists are based on the same functional principle: A wire rope of any length is guided through two pairs of clamping jaws in a straight line. When the drive lever is moved back and forth, the wire is moved forwards or backwards (according to the selection) smoothly and without slippage.

From the small and lightweight HIT-06 over the powerful yet compact allrounder HIT-16 up to the HIT-32 powerhouse with a pulling force in excess of 3 tonnes, these manual hoists cover a range of uses.

Webnet Frames Classic are made of circular section stainless steel tubes in various diameters. The wire lacing rope which secures the Webnet in place is wound visibly around the frame. The Webnet Classic frame  adapts  to virtually all shapes of opening and net types, is cost-effective and stable

On Webnet Frames Inviss, the lacing rope lies within the slotted frame profile and is not visible. This lends the frame a very clean aesthetic appearance. Inviss-R designates frames with slotted round tubes.

Similar to the Webnet Frames Inviss-R, the Webnet Frames Inviss-C utilize a rectangular or square tubular profile.

Webnet Frames are available with through holes, Flowdrill internal threads or various different designs of frame holders and clamps.

As an option, we can provide Webnet Frames with a paint coating based on the RAL-Classic color palette. Please refer to our technical information sheet on spectral coloring and wet paint coating.

The GreenKit net trellis consists of a stainless steel net, which is attached to the wall at mounting points with spacers. The flexible net construction allows four different variants of suspension: Mesh lying narrow or lying wide and mesh standing narrow or standing wide. Visually, GreenKit net adds a noble accent to free walls and facades, which can be significantly enhanced with more green. The positioning in height and width is variable and can be used as required. Thus, plants can grow up on it from the ground or be placed from a plant pot to the GreenKit net.
