Each pad is a 7-1/4” square x 3/16” thick
Sold in packs of five or twenty pads
The SSP Specseal Putty Pad is used to seal through penetrations, construction gaps, and blank openings. These putty pads for electrical boxes are sound and fire tested to maintain maximum sound and fire ratings. Each pad is a 7-1/4” square and 3/16” thick, about double the thickness of most putty pads. The thicker pad increases sound isolation performance as well as the fire rating. These pads are manufactured by Specified Technologies under the model number SpecSeal SSP4S.
The most common application for the SSP Putty Pad is putting the electrical putty on the back of outlets. The loss in mass created by an electrical outlet opening needs to be restored. The SSP Putty Pad is the best product for this because of the high performance in sound isolation and safety in fire rating. Acoustic putty pads for electrical boxes are only required if your wall has more than two single gang outlets within 100 square feet of surface area.

Door Seals
21 foot long roll to cover standard sized doors up to 48" x 96"
Easy peel and stick installation
The PDS Rubber is a high performing perimeter soundproofing rubber door seal that can be installed on the door stop as well as the door jamb. When the door is closed against the PDS Rubber, the unique triple fin door seal design collapses creating dead air space within the rubber seal. When a second PDS Rubber door seal is installed away from the first, a larger dead air space is created and the redundancy helps to ensure a full seal in the corners. The rubber compresses easily allowing the door to shut with a low closing force without creating gaps in the corners.
Pricing based on 36" length
Surface mounted, semi-mortised, or fully mortised installation style.
Only stock sizes of 36" and 32" available, cut to size in the field, up to 4" from purchased length.
The largest opening to seal on a door is between the bottom of the door and the floor or threshold below. The most effective way to isolate this opening is with the ADB Mortised or ADB Surface. The ADB stands for automatic door bottom with automatic referring to how the auto door bottom will raise or lower the auto rubber door seal as the door opens or closes. The metal plunger on one side of the automatic door bottom seal comes in contact with the door jamb as the door opens and closes. This function will keep the rubber seal from dragging across the floor, prolonging the life of the rubber and allowing the door to open and close smoothly without additional closing force.
What separates our automatic door bottom seal from others available is the uniform seal pressure across the entire bottom of the door along with the double rubber seal. The double rubber seal creates a 3/8" dead air space increasing performance significantly over solid rubber or foam auto door seals.
There are two styles of the auto door bottom seal, the fully mortised (ADB Mortised) and surface mounted or semi-mortised (ADB Surface). The performance and function of these two styles are the same, only the installation and appearance are different.
Stock size is 36” and 72" long.
Heavy duty acoustic door seal that installs on the floor between the door jambs
The PDS Threshold Seal is most often used when the finish floor is uneven or carpet. If the gap beneath the door slab is under 1/2” then the PDS Threshold can be used as a standalone product. Most often it is used along with our automatic door bottom, the ADB Surface or ADB Mortised. The advantages of an acoustic threshold over a standard threshold is the seal redundancy and dead air space created between the acoustic door bottom seal and door threshold seal.
Resilient Sound Clips
Can be installed under all flooring types
Used to isolate impact footfall and airborne noise
An underlayment needs to be resilient and dense to efficiently isolate impact footfall and airborne noise. GenieMat® RST rubber underlayment meets both of these requirements in each available thickness. The thinner GenieMat® RST02 2mm rubber underlayment and GenieMat® RST05 5mm rubber underlayment are recommended when the ceiling below has resilient clips or resilient channel installed. When the ceiling below is fixed to the framing, then the thicker GenieMat® RST10 or GenieMat® RST12 12mm rubber underlayment are recommended. The thicker GenieMat® RST rubber underlayment versions are also recommended when a higher level of performance in isolating impact footfall and airborne noise is required.
GenieMat® RST rubber underlayment has been tested to perform under most common floor finishes including, but not limited to, tile, stone, wood, laminate, vinyl, VCT, and carpet with installation directly to wood, concrete, and steel sub-floors. The GenieMat® RST rubber underlayment has also been tested to meet ANSI standard 118.12 as a crack isolation membrane as well as IAQ test ASTM D5116 for zero VOC.

High performance drywall decoupler for walls and ceilings
Use with wood furring or metal furring hat channel with 1/4” to 1” of space lost (plus drywall)
Exceptional STC and IIC test results, including multiple UL assembly ratings for fire safety
The HushFrame Raft Connector is the newest invention for decoupling drywall from wall and ceiling structures. Decoupling is not a new concept in sound isolation, but the Raft provides unique benefits over competing products. This wood based product is connected between a soft, yet extremely strong, rubber silicone. The energy from sound is lost in the transfer from the front of the Raft to the base of the Raft via the rubber silicone. The end result is significant isolation gains in STC and IIC for both walls and ceilings, even in the most basic of assemblies. No other products are needed to meet or exceed building code for STC and IIC in walls and ceilings. HushFrame Rafts with single layer drywall and no underlayment on the floor above is all you need. Simple fool proof installation for a simple assembly with exceptional performance!
Low profile GenieClip® version to reduce profile depth for ceilings and walls
Same performance as GenieClip® RST
Decouple soffits, top plates, ceiling fans, acoustical grid ceilings, etc.
Strongest L bracket clip on the market
The GenieClip® LB is the accessory clip to the GenieClip® RST. This multipurpose Lbracket resilient clip can be used in a variety of applications where structural support is required including wall sway bracing, ceiling suspension for fixed and acoustic grid ceilings, and accessory mounting including isolation of ceiling fans and recessed light boxes like our QuietBox. The GenieClip® LB is designed to support significantly more weight than the typical L bracket resilient clip. Each GenieClip® LB holds an impressive 108 pound minimum pullout and shear rating. Made from recycled components, the GenieClip® LB contributes to LEED certified building.
Unparalleled ease of attachment to standard 1-1/2” cold rolled channel
Same great performance of GenieClip® RST
Decouples TVs, kitchen cabinets, headboards, garage doors openers, and more
Max Load: 200 pounds (shear) / 100 pounds (pullout)
Vibration isolation mount will not reduce performance of previously isolated wall by more than 1dB in any 1/3 octave
The GenieClip® Mount is a simple ingenious way to isolate heavier items without sacrificing performance of a decoupled wall or ceiling. Now televisions, cabinets, hand railing, projectors, and more can be properly installed with this sound dampening mount while maintaining separation from the existing framing.
Used with uneven ceiling joists or to drop below plumbing and electrical
Same performance as GenieClip® RST
For ceilings that have either uneven joists or require space for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical to run beneath the joists, we recommend the Pliteq GenieClip LB2. The performance of the Pliteq GenieClip LB2 is at the same level of the standard GenieClip RST.
Green Glue Compound
Damping compounds, like Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound, are relatively recent advancements in the sound isolation market. Green Glue Soundproofing Compound is a material that is applied between two layers of solid non-porous material, typically drywall or wood, in walls, ceilings, floors, isolation boxes, window plugs, and doors.
Green Glue Compound is most often applied from tubes, instead of pails, in smaller projects that might be done in phases and to help track of the amount of Green Glue Compound applied on a project.

Green Glue Compound is a material that is applied between two layers of solid non-porous material, typically drywall or wood, in walls, ceilings, floors, isolation boxes, window plugs, and doors.
Green Glue Compound is most often applied from pails instead of tubes in larger projects covering more than 700 square feet of surface for faster application and lower cost per square foot. We strongly recommend the use our Green Glue Dispensing Gun when applying from the Green Glue 5 gallon pail for accurate and easy application.
Acoustical Sealant
Green Glue Sealant is used to seal surface perimeter and other gaps
Remains flexible, easy to cleanup, non-toxic, UL rated
Each tube is a quart sized 28 ounce cartridge with a detachable nozzle included.
Three times the size of a standard caulking tube. Green Glue Noiseproofing Sealant is used to seal any gap, hole, or opening in walls, ceilings, floors, as well as around windows, doors, outlets, wires, and similar areas. Most of the focus is on the methods of installing sound isolation products, but we cannot stress enough the importance of a fully sealed partition. The performance gains of modern sound isolation products are not achievable if the seal quality is poor. Alternatives like spray foam or gasket do not have enough mass to seal properly. If the gap is over 1/2”wide, then we suggest using SpecSeal SSP Putty Pad to fill the bulk of the gap and Green Glue Acoustical Sealant to seal any gap that remains.
Green Glue Noiseproofing Sealant is a water based, zero VOC acoustical caulk, rated for sound isolation in high performance assemblies as well as UL rated in common assemblies. This material cures to a soft state allowing a flexible, yet dense, connection between two adjacent surfaces. GG Acoustical Caulk is a very cost-effective material with a cost per ounce in line with even a basic latex acoustical sound sealant.
Totalmass MLV Barrier
Best used in areas where decoupling or damping cannot be used
Ideal for windows, doors, fences, pipes, and similar uses
Mass loaded vinyl (MLV) is one of the original sound control products. For some time, it was considered the best solution for effective sound reduction. With advances in technology, higher-rated products have been introduced, providing more cost effective alternatives in walls, ceilings, and floors. However, TotalMass MLV Barrier still has its place in sound isolation. One big advantage to MLV is that it works essentially anywhere. It doesn’t rely on an assembly with particular spacing for framing, or common walls, or existing drywall, or certain finish floors, etc. MLV is an acoustically dead material that will bring a value, sometimes big and sometimes small, to any assembly.
The largest gains are experienced in walls, doors, windows, and other odd areas like around pipes, duct work, in curtains, in cars, and hanging on exterior fences.

Putty Pads
Acessories
Tests show loss of 1-2 STC points per light, QuietBox restores this loss
Includes Velcro to fasten housing to inside of QuietBox
Exclusively designed and manufactured by IsoStore
Only proven recessed light cover
The QuietBox recessed lighting soundproofing cover is used to isolate IC rated recessed lighting for nearly every brand and style of housing. Each untreated recessed light in your ceiling will lower the performance of your assembly by 1-2 STC points, depending on the number of lights and size of ceiling. This reduction in performance is due to the loss in mass where the recessed light is installed in place of one or more layers of drywall on the rest of the ceiling. The concept is to restore this lost mass created by the recessed light housing by fitting the entire housing within the QuietBox and sealing the box to the back of the finish layer of drywall. Normal drywall ceilings will have the QuietBox installed using a 2x framing member or similar while resilient ceilings will remain decoupled by attaching the QuietBox with our custom Corner Brackets. These are 6” long brackets designed to maintain resilience and stability in installation. Installation of the QuietBox around your IC rated recessed light will restore the lost mass entirely allowing your ceiling to reach the full STC, OITC, and IIC rating.
The interior of the QuietBox recessed lighting soundproofing cover is finished with 5/8” Type-X drywall and UL rated acoustical sealant. The QuietBox recessed light cover meets building code requirements for electrical fire code by using materials safe to be in contact with electrical housings. There is not an official UL rating for the QuietBox.
Low profile solution for decoupling floors, stages, and risers.
STC, IIC, UL, and structural tests to prove efficacy. Better performance and proven performance, unlike joist isolators or similar solutions.
Low Shore A durometer is soft enough to allow performance in both concrete and wood structures.
The Acoustic Sleeper is a high performance solution for decoupling floors, stages, risers, and other similar assemblies over wood or concrete structures. Each Acoustic Sleeper is only 1/4” thick, resulting in an addition of just 1-1/8” overall to the assembly thickness when combined with the required double layer 1/2” OSB.
Each sheet of wrap is 19.5” wide, 31.5” long, 1/16” thick
4.25 square feet of coverage
Triple performance by doubling the layer
Our Pipe and Duct Wrap is a versatile vibration damping pad that is highly efficient at damping lightweight hard surface materials. We have designed this product to dampen the vibrations transferring through any plastic or metal surface just over 1/8” surface thickness. It is most commonly used to wrap plastic drain pipes and sheet metal ductwork, but can adhere to any smooth lightweight surface to reduce, and often eliminate, sound transfer through the material. Other applications include vehicle interiors, machinery, furnaces, and appliances.
The black side of each isolation sheet is a self stick butyl that will easily attach to pipes, duct, and other clean smooth surfaces without additional fasteners. The opposite side of the vibration dampening pad is a reflective aluminum constrained layer with a finish similar to sheet metal. The weight of our Pipe and Duct Wrap is similar to 1 LB MLV with the damping power of Green Glue Compound. It’s a great, high efficiency damping pad that will far exceed the performance of simple MLV alone..
