Perimeter Security

Fixed Bollards
State Designed DS22 & DS25 Security Bollards are an excellent perimeter security choice anywhere where K12 or K4 anti-ram protection in required. The DS22 state designed security bollards comply with the toughest U.S. Department of State (DOS) crash-test ratings. Fixed DS22 bollards provide around-the-clock protection against vehicular threats and are engineered to meet up to K12 (M50 equivalent) performance criteria (15,000 lb vehicle at 50 mph).
Ameristar's Ultra Shallow bollards are quick and easy to install crash-rated bollards that provide superb protection against vehicular threats.
All configurations in the series require between 6"-10" of total excavation, enabling you to install a crash test certified security product at a fraction of the depth required by traditional products.
Ameristar's Ultra Shallow Series is available in 3 crash test certified configurations. The first is crash test cerified as M50/P1 (aka Gladiator) which is a K12/L3 equivalent rating. The second is crash test certified as PAS68 (aka the SP1000) and is equivalent to a M40/P2 or K8 rating. The final configuration is crash test certified to K4/L3 (aka the SMB) which is equivalent to a M30/P1 rating.

The Defender is excellent for sites where the pathway access changes often. When retracted, the Defender security bollards are flush with the roadway and provide free movement of pedestrians and vehicle traffic. Utilizing the highest cycle duties available, the Defender automatic hydraulic rising bollards are an economical and effective way of securing any access point.
Active Barriers
Ameristar's Sentinel® wedge barriers are designed for maximum perimeter entry security. The potential for an unauthorized vehicle to enter a secured location presents a real and everyday threat that must be addressed. Combat vehicular threats at your perimeter's entry point with the Sentinel wedge vehicle barrier.
The Patriot® rising beam barrier drastically increases perimeter entry security. This security barrier has a rapid deployent rate and remains functional even after a crash, making it an excellent choice for high security access control.
The Patriot utilizes a hydraulically actuated structural beam that is recessed flush with the roadway when granting vehicle access. It also has a rapid rate of deployment between 3 and 5 seconds and a full guard height of 36". The crash beam barrier's primary excavation is outside the roadway opening, and minimal excavation is required across the roadway, which avoids most underground utilities and obstructions.

The barrier arm is a multi-purpose entry drop-arm that controls traffic while providing an anti-ram obstacle to protect from potential vehicular threats. We offer two different crash rated barrier arm options - the M550 is K12/L3 rated and M530 is rated as M30/P1.
The M530 has two successfully tested designs. The 22-foot barrier design does not require excavation across the roadway, whereas the 12-foot barrier design uses a shallow excavation across the roadway for a monolithic installation. The M530 barrier arm is also available in engineered design lengths to fit specific site requirements.

PassPort IS is Ameristar's line of sliding roll gates that are ideal for projects that require a higher level of security. It features fully-welded construction for increased durability and strength and a PermaCoat double coating process for increased weather resistance and reduced corrosion.
PassPort IS is intended to match the Impasse II fence system.
PassPort II is an innovative roll gate system for industrial fence applications. All PassPort roll gates are designed with versatility in mind. The reversible design of the PassPort roll gate insures a flawless installation by allowing the gate to be installed on either side of the gate opening.
Perimeter Fence
The Stalwart IS (Impasse Security) system integrates the strongest high security fence available with the most used anti-ram barrier. The Stalwart anti-crash barrier has been engineered and tested in compliance with current ASTM F2656-07 (Standard Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers) and meets the demand for multiple vehicle threats.
The Stalwart II system integrates the design features of a traditional ornamental iron fence with the resilience of the Stalwart anti-ram barrier. The ornamental picket design blends into its surroundings while not drawing attention to itself, but still maintaining the requirements of an anti-ram barrier. Stalwart II security fences use the same fence framework as the Impasse high security fence, giving it the ability to integrate multiple security components without a costly patchwork installation.

An Impasse II fence serves as a visual deterrent backed with heavy steel components that give a higher level of protection compared to the traditional chain link or architectural mesh fence alternatives. Impasse II is the best choice for securing at risk facilities or protecting specific assets within a property.
The WireWorks Anti-Climb fence is a unique perimeter security product that maintains a guarded display of visual screening balancing the need to delay and deter an attack.
The distinguishing feature of WireWorks Anti-Climb is the anti-scale and anti-cut welded wire mesh. This makes it very difficult to get a foothold on this fence, and the cutting implements required to sever its welded heavy steel wire cannot fit into the minimal spaces of the mesh.
Matrix security fence is a perimeter enclosure grid designed to expand to the level of site security required. Its framework structure allows the user to define the level of security needed by choosing a suitable mesh option that details the degree of delay and site visibility. The Matrix design is a result of multiple power utility companies seeking a design that could comply with CIP-014 physical security standards.
Montage II is Ameristar's line of heavier ornamental steel fence suited for projects which require a higher-level of security. Owners deserve a fence system that's more than a perception of security. Aegis II industrial and high security ornamental fence can be customized to match rail spacing of any existing fence.
