Modular Designed Sizing
Our Commercial Wheelchair Ramp and Platforms are modular in design and meet IBC and ADA guidelines. The modular design allows you the ability to create many different configurations which should cover most applications.
The commercial platforms are available in 5'x6', 5'x5', 5'x4', 4'x4' and the height is adjustable by using our adjustable leg system. Platforms can be combined to create larger landing areas.The commercial ramps are 48" inside curb to curb. Optional 56" inside curb to curb ramp widths also are available. Ramps come in sizes 2', 3', 4', 5', and 6' long sections which connect using a tongue and groove design allowing us to build a ramp run as long needed. Leg heights are adjustable by using our adjustable leg system.

Custom Design
Our entire modular commercial ramp system can be customized in several configurations as needed. Commercial step systems are also available.
Examples: A custom platform size needing to fit into a tight inset area, steps which exit off a platform, adding grab rail, gates or 56" wide ramps to accommodate the customer.
A detailed drawing showing the custom design requested must be submitted to American Access prior to ordering. Our team is available to help with design so contact us about how we can accommodate the request. Some design restrictions may apply.
Choice of Handrails and Grab Rails
The Commercial System comes with your choice of vertical picketed rails or 2-line horizontal handrail systems. Please contact us for details.
Optional internal grab rails are available for adult and or child height use. Most states require the inclusion of grab rail and some require both the adult and child grab rail. Please refer to your local or state agency for code requirements. Contact American Access for details.
Choice of Finish
Our commercial modular ramp system comes standard as a solid aluminum mill finish.Optional powder coat finishes are available at an additional charge. All colors are depictions only. There is a 1-year warranty on powder coating. Powder coating request extends the production time. Please contact American Access for more details about available colors,samples and timelines.

Residential Ramps
Modular Designed Sizing
Our Residential Wheelchair Ramp is modular in design. This allows us to create many different configurations which should cover most applications. The platforms are available in 5'x6', 5'x5', 5'x4', 4'x4' and the height is adjustable by sliding the legs through a socket that is welded on the side of each platform.
Our standard residential ramp is 36" from curb to curb. The ramps comes in sizes 2', 3', 4', 5', and 6' long sections which connect using a tongue and groove design allowing us to build a ramp run as long as needed. Adjustable legs for both height and positioning for the ramp come standard with the Patriot and XM series.
Custom Design
Our entire residential ramp system can be customized where needed. An example might be a custom platform size that is needed to fit in a tight inset area or changing the width of the ramps to 48" wide to accommodate the end user. A detailed drawing with custom request must be submitted prior to ordering. Please contact American Access to inquire about how we can accommodate the request. Some design restrictions may apply.

Made from all aluminum, the XM was created from listening to our customers who live in parts of the country where snowy and icy conditions prevail during the winter months. Made of aluminum and designed as a modular system in both the top surface and legs, we have stepped outside of the box on this style of threshold ramp.
The Hero offers you a threshold ramp with the MOST usable surface space and a safer incline than any ramp in a comparable design. The Hero's ramp surface on a 6" rise provides over 25% more under your chair. With the combination of an anodized surface and special non-skid technology, the Hero exceeds the NFSI requirement for wet Static Coefficient of Friction on a hard flooring surface.
What does this mean? For the end user in the chair, a safer feeling going up and down the ramp. For the person assisting the chair user, less strength required to push the occupied chair up and down the ramp. The Big Lug ramp was designed to provide a full 42 inches of width in front of a doorway. Handrails are optional and provide added security for people that need a little stability transitioning through the door. Perfect for storm door or screen doors, the width of the Big Lug allows clearance between the handrails.
The Big Lug is also ideal for small curb situations and creates a full-sized and gentle path for folks using walkers or wheelchairs or even those that are just a little unsteady on their feet.
