Born out of a need in an underserved market, Aeroturn has been carefully designing, manufacturing, testing, delivering and installing the most well-engineered standard and custom turnstiles in the industry. The company focuses on helping to thwart security breaches in the government, as well as keeping education, industrial, commercial and private sector facilities secure.
Since 2001, the company, headquartered in Oxford, Connecticut, has found success with the help of its extremely knowledgeable and talented engineering staff, who have decades of engineering and design experience in at least 30 different industries far more complex than turnstiles.

ManTrap Turnstile

The Aeroturn ManTrap uses the time-proven mechanics of the Aeroturn Portal to achieve a 250% higher throughput than “Revolvers". Ballistic glass and integrated metal detector options are available when you need vault-level security and protection.

Locking Compound-Motion Security Access Gate
Our workhorse access gate, the Aeroturn Portal, features passageways up to 42" wide, glass up to 78" high and narrow cabinets (<12") for high floorspace utilization, making them ideal for elevator banks. With up to 60 passages/minute bidirectional throughput, the Portal is the fastest access gate in its class. Ballistic glass and other options are available.

Manual Control System
Aeroturn's Desk Control system provides intuitive and immediate local lane control. The system's rugged design has all the preferred daily functions, right at your fingertips.

Hold Open Button keeps lane open while pressed, and used to validate proper machine response to a fire loop break
Single Entry Button provides one entry into the secure space without an access card
All Open Keyswitch opens all lanes for as long as required for tours, floor cleaning and emergencies
Audible alarm with adjustable volume beeps in lanes where tailgating occurs
LED notification emains lit for two seconds after alarm for lane confirmation, or remains on as a reminder that all lanes are open
Off Keyswitch increases security by disabling Desk Control when staff is not present
Low energy consumption of 0.4W/lane, powered by the turnstile, avoids the need for an additional power supply

Fixed Glass Barrier Panels And Platforms
Aeroturn fixed glass barrier panels and platforms eliminate the need for permanent floor modifications and make it easy to reconfigure entrances. Floor-mounted glass walls and lift-off glass walls are site-matched to create a full security perimeter.

Shallow Trench Raceway System
Aeroturn's AeroDuct is a site-matched, integrated raceway and turnstile mounting system. Available for all Aeroturn products, it is installed in a shallow trench to avoid complicated conduit work and deep floor cuts.

Factory Direct Installation
Because we believe in completing an entire job and leaving nothing to chance, Aeroturn installs all our manufactured products with factory professionals. We've honed our entire installation process and turned it into an artform. Schedules are set by the customer – a typical full lobby installation starts on a Friday after tenants leave and is fully commissioned on Saturday. We leave your site spotless.

Set up anchoring using Aeroturn drill fixtures and proprietary zero-failure studding system
Installing protected product direct from our shop floor delivered with own installation trucks with AeroLift systems that meet OSHA specifications
Removing floor variations with AeroShims to perfectly align cabinets and glass
Providing low voltage AeroCable circuitry that is terminated into connectors to our standard access, interconnect, and desk control terminal blocks
Installing turnstile accessories including Aeroturn desk controls and fixed barrier glass walls
Perform commissioning with the customer and other tradespeople immediately following installation, and training the security staff
