Wood Decking

Teak (Tectona grandis) is lighter than Ipe in both color and weight. Its color ranges from yellow brown to dark golden brown, darkening with age. Because it is less dense than Ipe, Teak is also generally easier to work with.
Cumaru (a.k.a Brazilian Teak, Dipteryx odorata, Almendrillo, Tonka, and Tonquin Bean) creates that carefree, inviting outdoor space you crave. When you step onto a deck made of Cumaru, you'll be presented with a rich display of golden tan to reddish brown colors and dark grain accents. Massaranduba (pronounced ma-sa-ran-DOO-bah) is a hardwood native to South America. It bears the distinction of being one of the most beautiful and hardest woods in the world. One surprising fact about this natural hardwood is how well it performs under heavy load (bending strength) tests. These tests revealed that, as a decking material, Massaranduba is twice as strong as California Redwood and is even stronger than Ipe decking.
Tigerwood (a.k.a. Goncalo Alves) is one of the finest quality hardwoods available that features a unique light golden-brown to reddish-brown coloring with exotic black and brown streaks. Tigerwood is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot and decay, is the third hardest decking we sell, and offers a 30+ year lifespan without preservatives!
Garapa (also known as Apuleia Leiocarpa, Brazilian Ash, Grapia, Amarealao, Marotoa, Muiratua, Muirajuba) is one of the finest quality hardwoods available that features a fine-grained timber that is light yellow to a warm golden hue. Garapa is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insect attack. Garapa is naturally scratch resistant which allows the surface to remain smooth for many years, making Garapa an perfect wood for exterior decking. Garapa offers a 30+ year lifespan without preservatives! Our Garapa decking is responsibly harvested from managed forest to provide a truly renewable resource. Our special selection of turning blanks for the lathe aficionado. Woodturning (a.k.a. turnery) is the art of carving wood into a round shape with radial symmetry. This is achieved using a lathe to spin a block of wood against hand-held carving tools. Different tools can help produce different forms. One who practices this craft is called a turner or woodturner. Woodturning can produce candlesticks, tool handles, bowls, lamps, ornaments, furniture legs, and more. Your imagination is the limit!
Custom made solid wood panels are a great solution for a busy woodworker who does not have the time or does not want to be bothered with the tedious glue up process. We can produce solid edge glued wood panels in almost any size or specie.
