Because the system uses air that is already cooled or heated, these systems require less energy to function. Recirculating systems can be set up to remove humidity from the range. Heating and mechanical cooling systems are available.

A purge system draws air from the atmosphere, introduces it into the range, filters the air, and then releases cleaned air back into the atmosphere. Purge systems use prefilters that are changed monthly and HEPA filters that are changed every 2,400 hours.

The Action Target baffle system is a crucial component of the range. It is specifically engineered and designed to not allow any rounds to leave a range. Instead, every round fired is directed safely towards the trap. The Fixed Turning Target Stand (FTTS) is an ideal system for tactical training and shoot/no shoot scenarios. The electric turning motor features full 360 degree target rotation as well as quiet functionality, making it difficult for shooters to anticipate when the target will turn. This model is electrically driven without the use of air making FTTS the most reliable system that you could own, and proven to work in harsh climates and sub-zero temperatures.

Now with optional integrated target lighting, training can happen day and night. On-board police lighting creates a realistic environment adding new elements to the tactical environment. The Fixed Lateral 360 (FL360) target system allows targets to be repositioned laterally along a fixed rail without the use of tools. Simply unlock the target and it will slide left and right for positioning in groups or creating open spaces on the range. Used in conjunction with the Dual Running Man target system, these targets can represent bystanders or perpetrators to simulate real-world scenarios.

The D-TaPS turns 180 degrees to present each side of a target for teaching threat/no-threat identification. Targets present themselves in two-tenths of a second. This means that trainees are not able to anticipate the target face which will be presented. Each unit can be independently controlled for tactical multiple-threat scenarios or single threat-in-a-crowd training. Placing trainees in an environment where threats have to be identified before they are engaged increases reaction time and decreases accidents in the field. 

The Power-90 actuator turns a target from edge to face and back again. Its robust actuator turns heavier plastic targets and foam backers as well as paper and cardboard targets. The Power-90 is ideal for use with running man targets because it uses wood supports instead of metal C-rods to keep targets upright. The Power-90 system can be controlled by Air Command wireless control, an electric thumb switch, or integrated into range control software.

The Dual Running Man (DRM) Pro is the most powerful and feature-rich running man system ever designed. It boasts 3HP motors, ultra-wear resistant pulleys, speeds up to 20 fps, realistic acceleration, and an easy to use control interface for use on tablets and mobile phones. The DRM Pro uses two lateral traveling, non-turning target carriers capable of moving independently from one another because they are mounted on two separate tracks that run parallel to each other. Paper, cardboard, and plastic targets can be attached to the Dual Running Man by stapling or clamping them to the standard 1" x 2" wood sticks secured to the target carriers with clamps.

Action Target's Portable Runner, operates on 120-volt AC power, and the unit can be plugged directly into a standard electrical outlet. A portable generator may also be used in more remote locations. Because the Portable Runner is built with strength in mind, it is a great choice for applications using larger and heavier targets or longer runs. Action Target's Automatic Popper™ is an adjustable actuator that lifts a steel, paper, cardboard, large 3D, or plastic target into view of the shooter by various controls. When used with SmartRange™, the reset interval can be adjusted from 0.50 second to as long as you would like.

The Automatic Popper is pneumatically powered with a pressure operation range of 40 psi to 100 psi. It can also be triggered by a 12V signal of less than 300mA. The actuator uses 10.6 cubic inches of air per actuation. It utilizes a proportional force cam lifter system to control the reset and lift actions smoothly and reliably. The Automatic Popper has about 60 ft lbs of torque in the horizontal position, tapering proportionally to 0 when vertical.

The power is adjustable to allow the actuator to be used with all types of handgun ammunition.

The Action Target baffle system is a crucial component of the range. It is specifically engineered and designed to not allow any rounds to leave a range. Instead, every round fired is directed safely towards the trap. Baffles in close proximity to shooters on both fixed firing line ranges and tactical ranges are specifically designed to contain splatter and ricoochet of a bullet. This reduces the risk of injury to a shooter in the case of an accidental discharge into the ceiling.

Action Target's Wall Deflectors are an extremely cost effective method for containing rounds within the range and protecting areas downrange from errant rounds. Wall Deflectors deflect bullets into the trap while protecting the structure of the building.

Wall Deflectors are made of hardened AR500 steel and can be manufactured and installed at a 0° or 15° angle on the wall, depending on the logistics of the range. Panels are manufactured in five foot sections and are approximately eight inches wide.

In order to provide better training, a shoot house needs to provide multiple options for entering and exiting, as well as reconfigurable layouts. MATCH™ utilizes sliding ballistic panels that accomplish this perfectly. Action Target has been building shooting ranges since 1986 and has learned a thing or two about range ventilation. There are many imitators, but only Action Target has the knowledge to keep shooting ranges safe and clean both inside and out. One of the most important aspects of keeping ranges clean is filtration. Action Target offers two filtration configurations that adapt to the needs of any shooting range.

A recirculating ventilation system reuses air from the range after filtering to ensure that reintroduced air is clean. Because the system uses air that is already cooled or heated, these systems require less energy to function. Recirculating systems can be set up to remove humidity from the range. Heating and mechanical cooling systems are available.

A purge system draws air from the atmosphere, introduces it into the range, filters the air, and then releases cleaned air back into the atmosphere. Purge systems use prefilters that are changed monthly and HEPA filters that are changed every 2,400 hours.
